Overview

AICS Store is a logistics and courier booking application built for AICS Logistics Pvt Ltd, supporting international courier and dropshipping service requests end to end — from booking through delivery.

My Role

  • Developed the AICS Store application for AICS Logistics Pvt Ltd, supporting international courier and dropshipping service requests.
  • Built the booking flow, shipment tracking, order history and real-time status dashboards.
  • Implemented pickup/delivery location selection and route visualization using Google Maps.
  • Integrated Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics and analytics tracking.
  • Deployed the application to the Google Play Store with production-ready release management.

Engineering Challenges

Real-time status dashboards

Shipment status needed to stay live and consistent across booking, tracking and history views without redundant network calls or stale state.

Route visualization at scale

Rendering pickup/delivery routes on Google Maps while keeping the map performant on lower-end Android devices required careful marker and overlay management.

Production release management

Shipping to the Play Store meant handling app bundles, ProGuard/code obfuscation and a repeatable release process alongside Crashlytics-driven stability monitoring.

Timely delivery notifications

Firebase Cloud Messaging had to reliably surface time-sensitive shipment updates to users without overwhelming them.
